NAKASEC has organizations located in five major cities across the US. NAKASEC seeks to enhance the lives of Korean Americans by: (1) educating the public on issues affecting Korean American communities; (2) encouraging Korean American political and civic participation through long-term, pro-active strategies and educational programs; (3) advocating for civil rights; (4) preserving and promoting Korean American cultural heritage; (5) promoting dialogue and exchange with other communities and providing social and community services, particularly to those with less resources and access.
