Asian Voices is supported by Asian Culture and Media Alliance, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization based in San Diego. Hosted by TV personality Cathlyn Choi, Asian Voices is a new and exciting Culture, Lifestyle and Entertainment TV show promoting the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community in Southern California.

The purpose of this unique program is to create a better awareness and understanding of the many rich and diverse Asian cultures in Southern California.

It is intended to breakdown the stereotypes and culture barriers of these communities and create a positive “voice” for these cultures.

Content will highlight entertainment, culture, community, business, music, fashion, film, and food, while entertaining and educating the general population about the diversity of their community.

Cathlyn Choi

Recognized by her fans and media as the Hansik Korean Food Ambassador, Cathlyn is the star and host of “Cathlyn’s Korean Kitchen,” currently in its fourth season, airing on national PBS and on Channel 4 in San Diego. In addition to 20 years of international business development and brand marketing background, Cathlyn has over 18 years of experience as a reporter, TV show host and MC in Korea and US. Through her media company Carma Media & Entertainment, she has received recognition for her service to the Asian community. Cathlyn is also the Founder and Board Chair, Asian Culture and Media Alliance or ACMA, President of Korean Women’s International Network, San Diego Chapter, Director of Public Relations at Korean American Association.

Dennis Michael

Dennis-Michael Broussard

Dennis-Michael is an event producer and community activist deeply rooted in the Asian American community. He has created or produced many of the largest Asian American events in San Diego, including the Asian Cultural Festival, the AMP Music Festival, the Filipino American Arts and Culture Festival, and many others through his event management company, Silkroad Productions. Dennis-Michael has been recognized by PBS as a Local Hero and by the United States Congress for his commitment to the community service.

Eric Michelson

Eric Michelson

With over 20 years of tv/film and video production experience including producing, directing, writing and editing, Eric’s experience includes corporate training programs, commercial spots, music videos, live fashion and music events to short films and documentaries. He currently co-owns Carma Media & Entertainment and has co-produced 4 seasons of Cathlyn’s Korean Kitchen including Top Chef Korean Food Challenge and Hansik Stories for tvK24, ArirangTV and PBS, currently directing and producing Asian Voices.
