Christian artist Gerard Powell (Keahipio’ole is his Hawaiian given name), also known as G, is a chaplain. He creates, produces, and performs island style inspirational songs of praise and worship. He is an independent songwriter and musician. Gerard received his master’s degree in Business Administration, and he is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers (ASCAP).
He is the founder and president of GerardsMusic.Com / Maile Lei Music Ministry Productions, an independent music ministry used solely for Gerard’s purpose as a means to create and distribute his music.
As a soloist and one-man band, his music consists of prerecorded original praise, worship, and traditional Hymns from his CD’s, written, produced, and arranged by him. And it is performed island style using his baritone ukulele.
His music has received airplay on over 400 Internet Christian and gospel radio stations across the nation, in the United Kingdom, Asia, and Europe.
